1. Philosophy & Aesthetic Identity
Founded on principles echoing classic Berlin soundspaces, Faust operates two distinct interconnected zones: Tanz Bar (an intimate cocktail lounge bathed in ambient warmth) and The Dark Room (a pitch-black sensory deprivation chamber where the music remains the singular focal point).
2. Kirsch Audio Sound Architecture
Faust features custom German-engineered Kirsch Audio loudspeakers designed specifically for the low-ceiling geometry of the room. The bass response is direct, tight, and unclouded, allowing micro-percussive techno textures to cut through cleanly across marathon sets.
To safeguard the privacy of dancers and artists, smartphone camera lenses are taped with fluorescent stickers upon entry. Using flash or filming on the dance floor will result in immediate ejection without refund.
3. Artist Curation & Residents
Faust regularly hosts global selectors like DVS1, Freddy K, Rodhad, Marcel Dettmann, and Ellen Allien alongside local heavyweights such as Marcus L and Sungeun. The crowd is deeply educated in electronic music, creating a respectful and electric atmosphere.
